The Philippine Association of Legitimate Service Contractors (PALSCON) – South Luzon Chapter proudly joined fellow leaders from government, industry, academe, and the labor sector at the 2026 General Assembly of the Association of PESO, Industry, and Academe (ASPIA) held on July 2, 2026, at the Sta. Rosa Sports Complex in the City of Santa Rosa, Laguna.

Guided by the theme, "Future Ready Laguna: Aligning Skills, Jobs, and Industry Demands," the General Assembly became more than a gathering—it served as a platform where ideas were exchanged, partnerships were strengthened, and collaborative solutions were explored to ensure that workforce development keeps pace with the evolving needs of industry. It reflected a shared commitment to aligning skills, employment, and economic growth in preparation for the future of work.

Bringing the voice of the legitimate service contracting sector to the conversation, PALSCON South Luzon Chapter President Mr. Rodolfo Aguilar Jr. took part in the Panel Discussion, “Harmonization of Industry, Education, and Employment Perspectives.” He shared practical perspectives on the evolving workforce landscape, highlighting both the opportunities and realities faced by the industry, while reinforcing that a future-ready workforce can only be achieved through stronger synergy among government, academe, and industry.

Standing alongside this shared commitment were PALSCON National President Ms. Maricar S. Suarez, PALSCON National Board Member and South Luzon Chapter Secretary Mr. Adrian D. Flores, and representatives from PALSCON member companies. Their presence reaffirmed PALSCON's dedication to being more than an industry association—it is a collaborative partner that actively contributes to conversations, initiatives, and solutions that help shape the future of employment and workforce development in the Philippines.
