PALSCON Voices The Employer Sector’s Perspective in the RTWPB-NCR Wage Consultation
As discussions on wages continue to shape the future of work and business in the country, PALSCON proudly took part in the Employer Sector Wage Consultation of the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board – National Capital Region (RTWPB-NCR) held on May 28, 2026, at the Philippine Trade Training Center (PTTC) in Pasay City.
Representing PALSCON were Internal Vice President Mr. Raymund J. Alfredo and External Vice President Mr. Froilan V. Florendo, both appointees to the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) Committee on Labor Relations. They were joined by Mr. Arturo Guerrero III, PALSCON Past President, National Director, and Vice President for Labor of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), who continues to champion policies that advance both worker welfare and business sustainability.
The consultation served as a vital platform for employers to articulate the realities faced by enterprises, share industry insights, and contribute to evidence-based discussions on wage determination. As one of the voices of the employer sector and the legitimate service contracting industry, PALSCON recognizes that sustainable wage policies must strike a careful balance—protecting the interests of workers while preserving jobs, encouraging investments, and fostering long-term economic growth.
PALSCON remains steadfast in its commitment to meaningful social dialogue and constructive tripartite engagement, ensuring that the perspectives of legitimate employers are heard in shaping policies that promote productivity, competitiveness, and decent work for every Filipino.
Together, we continue to advocate for solutions that strengthen businesses, empower workers, and build a more resilient Philippine economy.
