Highlights from the PALSCON Region IV-A 74th General Membership Meeting!
We had an enriching and productive time at the PALSCON Region IV-A 74th General Membership Meeting held at the prestigious Paseo Premier Hotel in Sta. Rosa, Laguna on July 28, 2023!
Our esteemed guest speakers brought valuable insights to the table. Atty. Melchisedek Guan, Acting Executive Labor Arbiter of NLRC, Calamba Laguna, delivered an exceptional session on the Effective Handling of Labor Cases and NLRC Rules, Procedures, and Other Practices, providing us with invaluable knowledge to navigate labor-related challenges.
Director Guido Recio, Provincial Director of DOLE Laguna Provincial Office, engaged us with a comprehensive discussion on Department Order 238-23: Rules on the Administration and Enforcement of Labor Standards, shedding light on important regulatory updates and best practices in ensuring labor compliance.
We were honored to have a Special Guest from DOLE Regional Office, Regional Director, Atty. Roy Buenafe, who graced the event with his presence, further underscoring the importance of our endeavors in promoting labor rights and fair practices.
And that's not all! PALSCON IVA recognized and awarded the certificate of completion to 43 BOSH Training attendees. These new Safety Officers 2, commits and aims to create a more secured and conducive work environment in their respective organization.
