The Philippine Association of Legitimate Service Contractors (PALSCON) was honored to participate in the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Flag Raising Ceremony held on July 6, 2026, at the DOLE Central Office, Intramuros, Manila—a meaningful gathering that brought together leaders and stakeholders united by a shared commitment to advancing the welfare of the Filipino workforce.
As one of DOLE's valued partners in promoting lawful and responsible contracting and subcontracting, PALSCON was privileged to take part in the ceremony, reaffirming the organization's steadfast commitment to responsible service contracting, meaningful social dialogue, and collaborative nation-building. A proud moment for the Association was the invitation extended to PALSCON National President Ms. Maricar S. Suarez to deliver a message before the Department, where she expressed the organization's appreciation for DOLE's unwavering dedication to programs and initiatives that uplift the lives of Filipino workers.
Leading the PALSCON delegation were National President Ms. Maricar S. Suarez, Internal Vice President Mr. Raymund J. Alfredo, National Auditor Mr. Rodolfo Aguilar Jr., Board Members Ms. Vivian S. Fuentes and Ms. Grace Iligan, PALSCON Cebu Chapter President Mr. Dave Karamihan, together with Past Presidents Mr. Armando L. Gutierrez Jr. and Mr. Arturo C. Guerrero III. Their presence reflected PALSCON's enduring partnership with the Department and its continuing role as a trusted stakeholder in advancing employment, labor standards, and workforce development.
More than a ceremonial gathering, the occasion symbolized the power of collaboration between government and the private sector. It served as a reminder that meaningful progress is achieved when institutions work side by side, guided by a common purpose of creating better opportunities, protecting workers' rights, and building a stronger future of work for every Filipino.
