On May 1, 2025, PALSCON stood shoulder to shoulder with the Filipino workforce in celebrating the 123rd Labor Day—an inspiring tribute to the strength, dedication, and resilience of our nation’s workers. Led by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and held at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, this year’s theme, “Manggagawang Pilipino, Kaagapay sa Pag-unlad, Sandigan ng Mas Matatag na Bagong Pilipinas,” was more than a message—it was a call to action. Representing PALSCON at this national milestone were National Vice President Mr. Raymund J. Alfredo, Director Vivian S. Fuentes, Past Presidents Arturo Guerrero III and Atty. Giovanni Melgar, and Industry and Member Relations Manager Paula Narciso, reaffirming our organization’s commitment to nation-building through dignified employment.

This year’s celebration was not just symbolic—it delivered impact. Over 12,000 job vacancies from 100 employers opened doors of hope for more than 1,500 job seekers in vital industries like BPO, construction, retail, hospitality, transport, and health. Beyond the halls of SMX, DOLE's simultaneous job fairs in 69 locations nationwide brought opportunities directly to Filipino communities—making Labor Day a true celebration of action, inclusion, and empowerment.

We give our sincerest thanks to all PALSCON member-companies who rose to the occasion and actively participated in these job fairs across the country. Your presence wasn’t just a show of support—it was a lifeline to countless job seekers.
