MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Association of Legitimate Service Contractors (PALSCON) Inc. will hold its 9th National Conference on Sept. 20 with the theme “Service Outsourcing Today,” at Manila Hotel’s Tent City.

With guest speakers led by Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Secretary Silvestre Bello III and Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian, the conference will tackle three important objectives on the following topics: “Embracing Challenges: To understand persisting labor policies and government directions and the threats of the 4th Industrial Revolution or the digital age; Enabling Industry: To come up with ideas on how service contractors will calibrate and innovate its activities in compliance with existing laws and threats of the future; Empowering Human Capital: To clearly spell out its socioeconomic benefits to both labor and business in the light of the existing laws and the threats of the digital revolution.”
