PALSCON Successfully Holds Its 418th General Membership Meeting
The Philippine Association of Legitimate Service Contractors (PALSCON) once again demonstrated the strength of its membership and leadership as it successfully convened its 418th General Membership Meeting via Zoom on May 29, 2026.
Bringing together industry leaders, business owners, and service contracting professionals from across the country, the meeting served as a valuable platform for knowledge-sharing, strategic discussions, and collaborative learning aimed at strengthening the competitiveness and sustainability of legitimate service contractors in the Philippines.
The first part of the program featured an insightful presentation on Positioning Service Contractors for Major Contract Opportunities by Mr. Ferdinand “Perry” Ferrer, Chairman and CEO of EMS Group of Companies and President of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI). Mr. Ferrer shared valuable perspectives on business growth, market positioning, and the importance of readiness in pursuing large-scale contract opportunities in an increasingly competitive business environment.
The second part of the meeting featured a highly engaging Focus Group Discussion on Strategies in Collection & Billing Management: Best Practices of Service Contractors, led by Mr. Lorenzo Consulta, PALSCON Public Relations Officer and President & COO of Romac Services and Trading Company, Inc., together with Mr. Froilan Florendo, PALSCON External Vice President and President & CEO of HR Network, Inc.
Drawing from years of industry experience, both speakers shared practical and tested approaches to managing collections, improving billing systems, maintaining healthy cash flow, and addressing common challenges faced by service contractors. The open exchange of ideas and best practices provided members with actionable insights that can immediately be applied within their respective organizations.
The overwhelming participation and active engagement of PALSCON members throughout the meeting reflect the organization's continued commitment to professional development, operational excellence, and industry leadership.
As PALSCON continues to champion the interests of legitimate service contractors, events such as the General Membership Meeting reaffirm the Association's role as a trusted platform for learning, collaboration, and innovation—equipping members with the knowledge and strategies needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving business landscape.
PALSCON extends its sincere appreciation to our distinguished speakers, officers, and members whose invaluable contributions made the 418th General Membership Meeting another remarkable success.
Together, we continue to build stronger organizations, create greater opportunities, and advance the standards of legitimate service contracting in the Philippines.
