A strong show of leadership and commitment to responsible employment was seen as officers and members of the Board of Trustees of the Philippine Association of Legitimate Service Contractors, Inc. (PALSCON) attended the 68th Members’ General Meeting (MGM) of the Employers Confederation of the Philippines held last March 5, 2026 at the Henry Sy Auditorium, St. Luke’s Medical Center, Global City, Taguig.
The afternoon session centered on “Strengthening Employer Compliance: Labor Relations, Kasambahay Law, and Taxation Updates,” bringing together employers and industry leaders for timely discussions on navigating evolving labor policies, promoting responsible employer practices, and reinforcing compliance in today’s dynamic workplace environment.
Representing PALSCON were its officers and Board of Trustees led by National President Ms. Maricar Suarez, alongside External Vice President Mr. Froilan Florendo, Corporate Secretary Ms. Abegayle Deloraya, and Treasurer Ms. Agnes Escalona. They were joined by members of the Board — Mr. Adrian Flores, Ms. Vivian Fuentes, Ms. Grace Iligan, and Mr. Lester Javier, with the presence of Immediate Past President Mr. Armando Gutierrez Jr. and Past President Mr. Arturo Guerrero III.
PALSCON’s participation reflects the organization’s continuing commitment to remain informed and engaged in discussions that shape the employer sector. By taking part in these conversations, its leaders ensure that the association stays aligned with emerging policies and best practices—allowing PALSCON to better support its members and contribute to a more responsive and responsible employment environment.
Moments like these underscore a shared principle within PALSCON: that leadership carries the responsibility to keep learning, to stay connected with the broader employer community, and to continuously strengthen the standards that guide the industry forward.
